Designer & Designing: Creating Techno Poetry
Young Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde has created a series of works with the theme “interaction behaviour”, which are full of dynamics and inviting people to participate. The sound, touch and behaviour of humans can all create surprising effects. Let the lights change, the fans turn faster, the lotus blooming on your fingertip. Daan Roosegaarde says, “The reason that I didn’t go to work for an architecture firm right after graduation is that I’m more interested in the fusion between environment and technology”.
In the 2011 November issue of Designer & Designing, you may read the interview with Dutch artist and architect Daan Roosegaarde.
