Job position

The Commercial Director is the manager of the Shanghai office and is accountable for maintaining healthy relationships with key stakeholders including clients, staff and partners. You guard the continuity of the agency and focus on profit and growth. Primarily, you are responsible for the development of the client network and client services of Energize China. Secondarily, you manage the Shanghai team. The Commercial Director reports directly to the shareholders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and building the Energize team
• Yearly defining the sales and people’s objectives
• Continuously striving for further growth in the Gross Agency Income and Net Profit
• Yearly chairing a evaluation-, objective- and performance review meeting with team members
• Delivering an excellent satisfaction rate for both Energizers and clients
• Attracting and recruiting new talent for the Energize team
• Meeting quarterly and yearly sales objectives
• Development of new business opportunities and acquiring new clients
• Setting up a local network of business partners (freelancers, agencies and suppliers)

Requirements

• University or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Economics and a Marketing Major
• Between 8-10 years of experience within an digital or creative agency
• Demonstrable knowledge of interactive brand communication
• Demonstrable knowledge and affinity of the Chinese market
• Commercial and account-driven
• Fluent Mandarin and English speaking.
• Great and inspiring public speaker
• Excellent communicative skills and comfortable in managing a diverse Chinese team
• Highly energetic, positive and ambitious born leader
