Graphic design/ social media intern

Dutch Design Workspace (DDWS) is an incubator program in design, fashion and architecture supported by the Dutch government. It serves as a soft-landing platform for Dutch designs firms who aim to enter the Chinese market by accompanying them in their first steps in the new and challenging environment. Dutch Design Workspace is also a platform for cross-cultural exchange of design expertise and hosts events regularly.

We are now open for enthusiastic Graphic design / Social media intern to join our creative team. You will be working with a young team in our cool, inspiring workspace environment located right in the centre of Shanghai. The internship is 3 – 6 months and full-time / part-time could both be arranged based on mutual agreement. However, a minimum of 3 days per week is required.

Main responsibilities:

• Design promotional material including brochures, flyers, ect.;
• Manage DDWS online channels and social media engagement;
• Weekly updates of social media to the team;
• Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects;

Requirements:

• Graphic design students are preferred or with a graphic design background;
• Familiar with Adobe InDesign CS4, Adobe Illustrator CS4, Adode Photoshop CS4;
• Social media savvy;
• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively during busy periods;
• Innovative and creative;
• Ability to work independently;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Sociable and a team player;
