Virtual Office: Our Virtual Office package features all of the services of a standard package here in Shanghai for companies who are not physically in China. It includes use of our address in Shanghai as contact for your business relations, communication support, post & telephone handling, exposure on our website and logo at the entrance, as well as a help desk for various business questions you might have during your start in China. PR & Communications: Give your company’s PR a head start in China by tapping into our extensive resource of media contacts. Via our specialised media network and PR Manager we can get you in touch with relevant channels, including Chinese social media, to get your vision across to the right target audience. Media outlets include but are not limited to; television, radio, internet and print. We develop a tailored media plan to get you the exposure you need to further your company’s outreach in the Chinese market.

Business Matchmaking: Tap into our network of private and government contacts to get in touch with the right local partners and potential clients. After careful selection, we arrange business meetings with a concrete agenda, so that a set course of action can follow. Project Management & Supervision: Our hands-on experience and local network in China helps you to manage and supervise your projects during both conceptual and executive phases. Business Development Coaching: Based on your business plan for China we develop a long–term support plan to make your incubation period more successful. We start with an in depth intake meeting to fully understand your business plan, ambitions and needs. Based on this we define a clear set of actions that will be evaluated and adjusted on a monthly basis. If necessary we involve external experts and advisors so together we can actively coach your start in China.

Creative Buddy Assistance: We have an affordable personal assistant service available for your business trip in China. We offer a student or recent graduate that speaks both English and Chinese and has an educational background that connects to the discipline that your company or project is in. This person can assist on a practical level (translation, travel logistics) but also offer more strategic support with tasks such as local networking, desk research and (basic) contract negotiations.

China Company Check: How do you know that potential project, site or client in China is the real deal? Part of this service is our own annual publication, the Dutch Design in China Yearbook.

Local Competition / Pitch Partner: Dutch Design Workspace Shanghai can be your local partner for pitches or competitions, acting as your representative and coordination contact. This package includes handling of design documentation; printing and personal hand-in on day of pitch deadline. We are used to working with last minute deadlines and capable of flexible time planning. Making clever use of the time difference with China can help you get an edge on the competition.

Product Placement & Retail: At our own location, events and various third party channels within our network we are able to provide unique product placement opportunities that get you in touch with the market you are targeting. This service includes our own online product selection showroom.
